i’m an assitant professor at harvard working on platform design, technology, and digitization. recently, i have been exploring how ai and algorithms are shaping consumer behavior in online markets.
before hbs, i spent some wonderful years at mit, as a postdoc at the ide and a ph.d. student at sloan under professors sinan aral, dean eckles, and john hauser. my dissertation won the msi alden g. clayton dissertation award, the mit sloan best dissertation award, and was a finalist at the asa statistics in marketing doctoral research award.
in past life, i was an economist at the reserve bank of india and a management consultant in mumbai/nyc. i have a masters in economics and a bachelors (with honors) in physics.
i love corgis, small confidence intervals, and long aimless walks.
