i’m a postdoc at the mit initiative on the digital economy. i solve core problems in recommendations, targeting, and pricing for online platforms.
i’m also the chief research scientist and part of the founding team of catalan.ai where i build pricing algorithms and design large-scale experiments.
i have a ph.d. in quantitative marketing from mit where i was fortunate to work under the supervision of prof. sinan aral, prof. dean eckles, and prof. john hauser. my dissertation won the msi alden g. clayton dissertation award, the mit sloan best dissertation award, and was a finalist at the asa statistics in marketing doctoral research award.
in my past life, i was a management consultant and a researcher at the reserve bank of india. i have a bachelors (honors) in physics and a masters in economics.
i love corgis, small confidence intervals, and long aimless walks.
